Ask always this perceptive Question:

of every act

of every notion

of every utterance

 

What is my perspective?

Moreover, do I have 

the correct and widest perspective?

 

And conclude with this summation.

Is my conclusion destined 

to cause anyone, no matter who they are,

any pain or anquish,

any suffering,

any heartache,

Grief even?

 

And if in doubt?

Then rest upon this basic tenet

from Aeons Past ...

 

... that even the fool is considered wise

when he remains silent  [i]

Ice Age ~ Revised Version in older English style

I enjoyed writing this piece for the reason that appears at its ending. I enjoy olde englishe; there is a slower speed about it that suits me. So I pulled it from the archive, having been reminded by Winter’s grip last week … what I had not expected, though, was the question raised in a drama and which is quoted at the very end. Yes, indeed. Why So? Faith is resolute, religion demands I climb back into the box. Religion appears somewhat chastened at my reply.

Visitation

All of us have much to thank young thinkers, men of intelligence and substance in an age that we, today, think it fun to mimic or ridicule. These were the great thinkers that guided society in ways that we can be truly thankful for even now. These men, and women, were those who refused to tailor their writing to religious dogma. Rather, they interweaved religion into higher realms of thought and inner consciousness. KTW
