About the Author

Spring 2026

Born in Cheltenham, I am a Gloucestershire, Cheshire and Liverpool-based writer, my interest being Poetry, History, Nature, the Arts which commenced with my first work Idle Thoughts in Liverpool in print (soft cover) in September 2009.

In this Twenty-first Century, I learn much if I keep my eye focussed on my own Century. Born in 1953, my careers were well established well before the arrival of the word-processor, then the computer, the worldwide web and the cellphone… before pitching us all headlong into the social media revolution. In 2026 we are coming to terms with the permanent presence in our lives of artificial intelligence.

This is a violent age although it has not reached on a world scale the horror of the Second World War - excepting for the nations that find themselves under attack.

Themes tend to centre upon self-discovery and identity. Published titles in my author name include:

4 Bluitt & Bodgitt about a Solicitors Practice in Liverpool, humorous but with an unusual twist exposing flaws in human nature.

6 WINDSOR STREET & ELMFIELD ROAD DAYS ~ a personal recollection written only for the benefit of my family, hence only publishing the manuscript on this website. Analytics suggest it is popular, and by this means I maintain course, and within sight of that line where sky meets water.

If I live only in the moment, without regard for the past, for my immediate past relatives, and further back by ancestors, then shipwreck is inevitable.

8 The Four Seasons

The website is a series of multifaceted content categories, that include poetry, the metaphysical, history, art, fiction, aviation, nature, and reviews.

In September 2025 the website commenced a series of Quizzes on the banner European Game in partnership with Braunsberger GMbH. We cover many subjects that deliberately focus only on Europe, and visitors can select the country of interest and participate in a lighthearted game but with serious intent and generally set to moderately difficult to difficult. The aim is to encourage in depth research.

The website galleries showcase visual art and multimedia, digital galleries created by me using the mid-journey digital program, and short video features.

The tone is literary, contemplative, often personal, and might appeal to readers interested in deeper, cross genre explorations, rather than commercial or genre fiction.

2026 ~ 2027

When dark minds have even darker intent, be warned! The enemy, at our gate, has already breached our boundary. The threat to every nation and community that believe in freedom and democracy is the threat of invasion; the plunderer that lives by one code only…
