CHANGING EMPHASIS

1 October 2026

Work on this website supports the American people. As they move towards the Midterms, nothing can be stated on here that will not be stated by the absolutely superb independent journalism in the USA and through YouTube.

I am not a journalist. I do not have those skills. I simply write and observe. A blogger. Definitely not a historian.

These independent journalists are able to bring to bear, for the benefit of all the American people, the truth that will hopefully enable the electorate to make the right decision in November.

The Atlantic Ocean lies between the USA and the Continent of Europe. The United Kingdom is very much part of the European Continent. The daily podcasts and videos we find on YouTube - not always fully reported on mainstream media - cover the terrifying war now being waged by Russia upon Ukraine, and increasingly, deliberately ‘but accidentally’ striking Poland, Romania, Moldova. Russia is now adopting - it is suggested by the excellent daily Ukraine News by The Telegraph - its Syrian strategy:

… to seek out, steal, kill and destroy …

Those are famous words from thousands of years ago and as apt today as when they were written.

We know that Vladimir Putin has no value for life. We know what will happen if he succeeds. But he will not succeed.

As he has himself said in September, I paraphrase, the people will hang me if I do not win.

That is the Hitlerian mindset. Not unlike the mindset in a little golden oval … except that with that mindset, it is absent without trace.

A peculiar phrase – hybrid warfare – is also now being employed by Russia and Iran and the proxies of those two Nations throughout Europe and including the United Kingdom.

It is misleading. Hybrid warfare is an attack upon a nation state. It is therefore the right time to, as it were, move back across the Atlantic Ocean to my Nation’s own sphere of influence, namely, NATO in Europe and the High North.

It is only a matter of time before Russia will lash out.

Today, the 47th – goodness knows how he can work this out given the frequent episodes of non compos mentis – suggests that in order to bring about the peace that he was going to achieve on day one of his presidency, he is holding high-level talks with Russia - and which they state are most favourable to them to bring an end to the aggressive war, they argue, being waged by Ukraine upon them - and the terms of which are in their favour.

The 47th states that he is seriously considering lifting sanctions.

Vladimir Putin is extremely hopeful that this will be so. We are reminded of the puppet and the puppeteer.

This game has been going on since before 2015 between these two people. History will be a very, very harsh judge.

There is a terrible quandary for all American armed forces stationed on the European continent and the United Kingdom. Their commander-in-chief is at complete variance with what they know to be the true situation on the ground.

They are working loyally alongside their NATO counterparts - who also highly value their innate friendship and military expertise - and yet they must at times have that dreadful sense that their C-in-C just might pull the rug from underneath them.

Following the traumatic elections in Germany, that nation, too, is wobbling. The government is now suggesting that it might be a good time to sit down and talk about peace terms.

Have they forgotten their history? Have they forgotten the Marshall Plan? Have they forgotten the prosperity of West Germany and the lack of prosperity and freedom of East Germany (the former DDR)? Have they completely forgotten who it was who dismantled the Berlin Wall?

However, Germany is standing fast in the face of continued provocation by Russia.

Friedrich Merz Chancellor of Germany addressing an International Governmental forum in mid September stated:

Most likely we are seeing the most decisive moments, perhaps weeks or months, ahead of us in defending the freedom and peace of our continent. If Russia succeeds, this will have unpredicted and unprecedented consequences for all of us, including Germany. That’s the reason why I’m standing here very firm, very clear and not willing to give back one one centimetre. This is now our historic duty.

Thus, It is right and proper that the website now concentrates upon European affairs as well as affairs within the Commonwealth of Nations.

The United Kingdom is part of Europe.

Our prime minister has made it abundantly clear that he will not be the last prime minister of the United Kingdom.

I imagine that there will be many of my American friends wondering how it is that they do not have a president who could speak with the same authority, pragmatism and vision, as well as the ability to safeguard freedom and democracy, the very things that are being hollowed out in the USA by the most corrupt and vile regime that has ever occupied the White House in the Nation’s 250 year history.

One day, however, they most certainly will.

I am confident that the American people will begin to take the right action and embark upon the long road – at least a generation – to rebuild that which has been smashed to smithereens right in front of them.

I bid my American friends a temporary farewell.

All of the articles that support the United States of America remain live on this website, and I am very proud of this.

But now is a very dark and dismal hour in the life of the world, and in particular within the continent of Europe.

I am a European. I stand by the values of the European Union and I am extremely proud that along with forty eight million people, I voted to remain within the European Union.

Our prime minister is now setting us on the course to bring us closer, perhaps similar to Canada, to a Union that we should never have left.
