UK Firms to Manufacture Weapons Inside Ukraine ~ 2024

Reading this morning’s reports from Ukraine and also the daily brief from the British Forces Net Service, I am delighted to see this headline:

UK firms set to manufacture weapons inside Ukraine to boost struggle against Russia

The link to the full article by Alex Candlin released yesterday at 4.58pm,10th April 2024 is below.

This is marvellous news, at least in my view.

I know, too, that the vast majority of the British People support this.

Let us look to the days that sees that three things have happened:

1 That Ukraine has defeated Russia and seen Russia return to the other side of its borders

2 That Ukraine is a full member of NATO

3 That Ukraine is a full member of the European Union

These objectives are imperatives if the European Union and the United Kingdom are, together, to secure peace, safety and stability within Europe. The wider English-speaking Peoples understand this too. I refer to the Commonwealth of Nations.

I am not so confident as regards the ‘leader of the free world.’ It is unnerving to see the daily turmoil on the other side of the Atlantic. They seem to be a nation of 391 million lost souls, determined to undo all that they have achieved in their very short life of 248 years.
