Der Anfang
This reflects my writing between July 2009 and October 2010 in Blackpool where I had my lodgings in Lord Street, and in Preston, Lytham Saint Annes and Kirkham Lancashire where I practised Law for the final fifteen months of my long legal career.
Here is much of my creativity at that time – kept under wraps due to life that taught me the wisdom of hiding in plain sight. The apparent clash of normality and abnormality, depending upon one's mindset.
Yet in adversity we always find creativity. The human spirit dares to challenge.
KTW
Suzie, Caroline,
We are not a literary family by any means. Nevertheless I pen this note in the hope that you'll allow this, and other handwritten journals, to have their place in our family’s Archive.
Words may mean little today but may be gold dust two centuries from now. I merely repeat that which happens in every century since time began whether on parchment, scrolls, carvings or cave paintings.
Affectionately
