Ukraine Dispatch 24 | Bad But Not Mad? ~ Downright Evil

Ukraine Dispatches

Volume 1 2022

WHAT WITH China’s ambassador to France letting the cat out of the bag yesterday with his definition of ‘re-educating’ that all Taiwanese will be forced to undertake, China’s clear intent on world domination, and what with Russia’s ruthlessness and barbarity in Ukraine, it was a relief to receive this 21-minute video, albeit only fleetingly.

The conclusion of the video is that Mr Putin is ‘bad not mad’, therefore a relief, and for the reasons stated in the interview.

That was the view on 6 August 2022.

Four months on, with his campaign of indiscriminate bombing of cities and ports by missile strikes, all I see is a man who is not only bad but very evil. For me, though, was his appearance at the Kremlin military awards reception last week. Hitlerian in his pompous arrogance. Oblivious to the thousands of Russian soldiers whose deaths he has caused, but committed to a Spring offensive that will see thousands more Russians killed, as well as the thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and the thousands of Ukrainian civilians.

Putin is Bad. Putin is very evil. Putin is mad in that Hitlerian way that should make us all think carefully.
