WAKE UP AMERICA!
In Europe and around the world, people both in the free world and the closed world, cannot believe that last evening we learned that Voice of America had been shut down over the weekend.
Voice of America and the BBC World Service have been complementary friends over 82 years, since VoM’s launch 82 years ago to combat the aggressive propaganda of the Nazi regime in the German Third Reich.
Consider this.
Today, Trump and Putin will speak by phone.
All of us on this side of the Atlantic Ocean are well aware that Donald Trump is the puppet and Vladimir Putin is the puppeteer. Whatever is expressed privately and through back channels from the Kremlin, Donald Trump then openly declares.
Just one example is his statement that President Volodolmyr Zelensky was a dictator. That came straight from the Kremlin. A week later, when asked by the BBC chief editor in the Oval Office whether he meant that, your president replied, “Did I say that? I can’t remember”, and shrugged his shoulders. That is just one example.
Over the weekend, your president took the gag and violently held it down over the collective mouth of Voice of America.
The staff exceeding one thousand have been laid off on full pay and directed to not in any way do any work for Voice of America in any capacity.
When asked how this was affecting VoM by the BBC Newsnight at 23:00 hour UK time last evening, the head of VoM was direct. Over the weekend, all over the world, Voice of America has ceased to broadcast.
All over the World, Voice of America is now silent, totally silent.
Wake up America!
You are being governed by executive order. Your congress is increasingly impotent. You have no voice.
What on earth have all of you done?
When Putin launched his invasion, he imprisioned all who dared to call it a war. He then immediately shut down all the independent news outlets and channels through the Russian Federation.
Can you see what is happening?
For goodness sake. Get a grip.
You are fast becoming the world’s pariah.
